Cheap Hawaii Cruises
Cheap Hawaii Cruises: Cheap But Good!
I'm not afraid to admit it: I want a cheap Hawaii cruise.
Not a bad cruise. No, I want a great cruise that I can get a deal on. A great, cheap Hawaiian cruise.
Don't you?
Here's the sound a bird makes...
cheep cheep cheep.
Here's a sound I make: cheap cheap cheap.
Can you hear the difference? That bird has the option of flying itself to Hawaii. I'm not that lucky. I could pay someone else to fly me, but then I'd miss out on the fun of getting there.
I want to cruise to Hawaii. And then I want to cruise around Hawaii.
Given a better income, I bet the bird would make the same choice.
There are a lot of ways to find a cheap Hawaii cruise
You just have to be smart. You can choose a shorter trip length.
You can price out the different cruise lines and find the most affordable.
You can find the departure port you can get to most inexpensively.
You can travel at a non-peak time of year - but a time that still makes sense for you.
You can wait.
What do I mean by, "You can wait"?
What I mean is that the cruise lines hate to set sail with empty capacity. If one of their voyages is about to set sail with plenty of unoccupied staterooms, you can darn well bet that they're going to start lowering prices. Or...
...that they're going to make those staterooms available to resellers at a significantly reduced price.
So by waiting, by being available for a discounted cruise to Hawaii on short notice, you can score a major deal.
(Heck, I just spotted a 10 day Hawaii cruise on Royal Caribbean for $899. Without a discount!!!)
See? A cheap cruise to Hawaii is not beyond your means. Or your ingenuity!
Of course, "cheap" means different things to different people
Cheap is relative. Some people simply want Hawaii for the least money possible. Others want to go on one of the more elite cruise lines...but they don't want to pay those elite prices.
Regardless of which kind of vacationer you are, Hawaii is a world class destination. Most of the cruise lines visit the same ports. Make sure you get to really cruise around Hawaii: don't settle for an itinerary that doesn't include Oahu, Maui and Kauai.
To my mind, nearly every cruise is a cheap cruise. Don't forget the two sweetest words in the cruise business: all inclusive. The price you get for a cruise usually include meals (and activities and entertainment) and so much more. (And it's not like you're going to need a rental car!)
That's why I always think of a cruise as the vacation you can get for the price of a hotel room.
Cheap cheap!
